Good noodles I love them

Good on the go

Of course they're high sodium, but I like these. I buy these for lunch at the office and just use the hot water out of the water cooler. I usually let them sit for about 10 mintes, and I add some extra ramen veggies (bought separately). Are they the best ramen noodles? No. Are they the worst? Also no. You're getting "healthy" so the noodles are steamed, not fried. But if you let them sit a little longer, the texture is less chewy. The protein is what I'm looking for to balance my macros. I'm quite happy with these for the price.

Impressed by the taste

this was actually very good, other high protein ramen taste like cardboard; I would buy again.

Delicious!

These were very good and the noodle did not get soggy if left longer in the broth. Delicious!

Tasty and impressive - slightly gritty

These noods have great flavor and the noodles themselves are great, chewy, soft, and overall I'm very impressed with these. I have them 4 stars because they have a slight gritty taste, very little, but noticable.

Tastes good, but too salty

Tastes good, excellent texture, too high in salt to be called a "healthy" option, though.

Decent soup base to doctor up

$3 a cup, 21g of protein. It's a good deal. There are some tricks to help you get the most out of it, though.1. Don't put boiling water in the cup. Cook the noodles in water in a pot on the stove for a few minutes. This helps with the texture of the noodles a lot.2. Doctor it up if you want more protein. Instead of water you can use half water and half chicken broth. You can throw in a chicken tenderloin or a hard boiled egg.3. Dress it up for taste and nutrition in other ways. I throw in broccoli or spinach, some fresh garlic and onion. This is a very hearty soup base for what it is. But if you spend an extra 5 minutes you can have a pretty legit meal for cheap that hits your protein. Or if you're in a hurry you could have a slightly less rad version that is still quick, cheap, and protein forward. This is definitely one of the things that I keep in the pantry for when I just don't have the time to cook something more involved, or if I come back in from out of town and don't have a lot of groceries on hand to cook.

As with everything low carb, something is just a little off.

I love Ramen. Especially the cheap stuff that you can buy in bulk at the local box store. Unfortunately my low carb lifestyle no longer allows me to indulge, so here we are. Those of you who've joined the no carb, no sugar revolution know that there's always something a little off about these prepackaged snacks. The taste, the texture even the smell. It's like living on a parallel earth. This product is no acception. It's not bad by any means. It's just not quite right. Say what you want about preservatives and high fructose corn syrup but it sure tastes great.🤣

Will always buy

Don’t listen to the bad reviews. Be patient with prepping. Boil the water first, pour and wait a few more minutes than normal. I usually have chicken cooked or shrimp and put it inside the noodles. You have to let the water set into the noodles to soften. If you’re rushing it, it will be stiff. Had a ton of protein and for the price, this is a great buy.

Very delicious!

I've been looking for high protein foods required for post-surgery recovery and simultaneously have had a weird craving for ramen, which seems counterintuitive. I'm not a ramen connoisseur, but in my uneducated opinion, these are fabulous. Very delicious and really hit the spot. The flavoring seems spot on. The noodles are possibly chewier than typical ramen, but I think the texture is just right. It reminds me of al dente spaghetti.

Pretty good ramen noodle. Small vegetable packet but overall, it's pretty flavorful.

Just buy them!

Buy these right now! I never leave reviews and these were so good that I wanted to make sure other gym junkies didn't miss out. The flavor is exactly what you expect from Ramen and satisfies that craving. The noodles are a bit chewy but I honestly don't mind that since it makes it a bit more satiating. You could leave them sit for a bit longer and they do soften up.I also don't think these are too expensive for what they are. It is only $4 a serving and packs a ton of protein. I spend the equivalent of that on a whey protein powder per shake. These are a great meal option in a pinch when you didn't meal prep, have a craving, or are short on time.I will 100% be buying more of these. You can beat the taste or the macros.

Chicken is 260 calories too

Very good. Great taste just like normal Ramen. Woulda been 5 stars if the chicken didn't show in the picture 200 calories and are in fact 260 like the rest. Would have gotten the spicy for the sake calories. Just slightly misleading not a huge deal.

Protein Ramen? Yes, please.

These noods are a bit hard if you only let them sit in hot water for a few minutes in their cup. I follow the directions, and then pour it all into a small sauce pan, add water and a splash of soy sauce, and let it simmer a while. The noods get much softer! Definitely more like normal ramen once the noods soak up more water. As far as the taste....I think it's very similar to regular chicken ramen. And although some people think it stinks...it smells like every other ramen out there. This is an acceptable ramen substitute, it's filling, and has good protein. Add an egg or chicken and some edamame and you've got a great hearty meal, low in calories and high in protein! It's worth trying at least, if you're looking for a decent protein meal hack. And don't forget to soak the noods way longer! Totally edible and tasty.

Would buy again

I was skeptical about these because of the reviews but ordered them anyway. Got chicken flavored.I boiled water and added it to the cup instead of microwaving. The noodles softened but didn’t become soggy, they still had a bit of firmness which actually made them great. The chicken flavor is definitely there, the noodles tasted fine and texture was slightly off from maruchan but honestly I wouldn’t know the difference if it was a blind test. Made from wheat and veggie protein is a plus, super high protein with basically no fat is also a major plus for my dietary needs, and it’s half the calories of a whole pack of ramen. The only negative I have is that there’s kind of a starchy feeling after each bite but it’s not a major turn off. Also that it’s expensive but also not a major turnoff.

Firm noodles, fake chicken

The texture of the noodles is pretty firm. The flavor was okay, but I was disappointed that they were vegan protein with “chicken” flavor. Call me crazy, but I like eating chicken protein over pea protein.

Pretty darn close to the real thing, with way better macros.

So first off this product, like most "healthy" alternative's to the better known products, is not a 1:1. I just finished a bowl and it was actually pretty good. Was it classic instant Ramen?, no, the noodles are a little odd in texture and the flavor isn't quite the same, but, I can honestly say it checked the box enough that I'll most likely buy more after this lot is gone. At around $3 a serving for something that is legendary for being dirt cheap its a bit pricey but I plan on adding chicken and veggies and using this as a base and that will make for an even higher proteins, relative cheap (and quick) meal. If you can set your expectations and swallow the price its a good way to eat Ramen without all the guilt.
